How to easily and quickly help your child type better

I'm amazed how proud the kids are at their '10-finger' typing. They've already got quite good at the basics, which we practise each week. To help them get better, here's the best website I've found: typingweb.com It has a brilliant 'Beginners Course.' We've just begun using it in the computer room and the kids love it. They get instant feedback on how good they are (accuracy and speed).

Now, it would be GREAT if they
register with the website. The benefit is that they can then easily track their progress every time they visit over the next six months (or perhaps the next four years). The quicker they can type, the better for their future.

To register they will need to use an email address (it doesn't have to be their own). When they log in again, all they will need to enter is a username (maybe their first and last name) and a password (keep it simple so they can remember it: e.g. 'good'); they will not need to use the email address to log in. Have a look and, if you want, perhaps help your child register (it takes one minute). Thanks. All the best to you.
